Rebuild and Restore South Meck
-----------------------
Did you Know?
In her first term - My opponent raised our property taxes
In her first term - My opponent tried to raise our sales tax
Now, the County will focus on the plan to revalue your home
Can we afford another tax and spend second term?
----------------------------------------------
My Promise to You
I'm concerned that the County Commission is ignoring the values and needs of District 6.
I will fight for our futures.
I promise to fight against the property tax increases, attempted sales tax increases and out of control government spending that is forcing senior citizens and middle class families out of our community.
As a father of five, I value a strong CMS and CPCC. I will get the funding promised for decades.
We need to create a job-inducing environment that leaves no one behind - including tradesmen and workers of all skill levels.
Yes - I support law enforcement and safe, well-policed communities.

I'm Frustrated by Failed Leadership
I'm passionate about South Meck and I want to be your Advocate.
South Meck deserves a leader who doesn’t advocate for annual property tax increases or push for sales tax increases.
Our schools are perpetually overcrowded as funding fails to provide classroom space for our children
Murder and violent crime are plaguing our community. Home invasions and property crimes are now a South Meck problem. We need a leader who will take action to find a way to restore safety to our communities.
Homelessness is no longer a distant inner city problem - it’s a Matthews problem. It’s a Pineville problem. It’s a Mint Hill problem. Published reports show that the Meck homeless population has nearly doubled since 2017
Our parks and greenways rank near the bottom in national surveys.

Time for Citizen Action
When I saw how the Mecklenburg County Property Revaluation was failing us - I volunteered to help fix it. The County Commissioners selected me in a Bi-Partisan ballot as Vice Chairman of the Board of Equalization and Review.
I personally voted to lower the taxes for thousands of citizens throughout Mecklenburg County. I demanded proof for every dollar of your home value and fought as your Advocate.
When I got tired of the poor roads and potholes plaguing our community, I volunteered to help fix it. I personally went to Lowes and bought the tools and the asphalt to fix the roads.
When the Arts Sales Tax referendum was being pushed, I volunteered to help fix it. I teamed up with former Commissioner Matthew Ridenhour to stop it. I purchased signs and campaigned to stop the tax increase.
When good people in our community expressed a need for the homeless, I volunteered to help fix it. My family came forward with thousands of dollars in personal donations to shelters, food banks, individual food and clothing supplies, and personal support.
I hope you will support me in making South Meck stronger with fiscally conservative ideals and a pro-growth mentality.

100% Self Funded Campaign
I have not accepted any financial contributions to my campaign. Running a campaign is expensive, but I am committed to being your advocate unencumbered by special interests. I ask that you give your hard earned money to the many important charities that serve our neighbors in need.
